I really like my silver hair atm
I was wearing this shirt the other day and some fat guy came up to me and said “What’s xmen?!” or something, in an obvious attempt to shame me thinking I had no clue what it was and that I’m just some teenage poser. Just because I dye my hair, shape my eyebrows, in general look after my appearance and don’t wear tacky things with t-shirts like this, doesn’t mean I don’t know what it is. I have 4 different x-men games on play station, I have the complete collectors edition of all 5 movies on blu ray, I have an old cartoon wolverine movie on dvd, I used to watch x-men evolution every single night and the original cartoon. Just because I am alternative and different from most people who would attend an anime con or watch sci-fi movies, doesn’t mean I’m some poser. It’s the exact same with attractive females. Why is it that people still think you have to be either overweight, have extremely bad acne/oily skin, oily hair, glasses, or in general unkept visually, to be a “nerd”. It’s not the 90s anymore, people don’t care about being a nerd, with the internet we’ve all grouped together and found others like us, we can express ourselves and we just laugh at people who mock us because they’re just stupid. I mean, even in 21 jump st they make that so obvious, teenagers are completely different now, just like they were in every other generation.
